The Namit Journals: Cafe 1925, Silay City

Headed north towards the Paris of Negros, Silay City boasts of its grandeur in preserving Filipino culture and heritage. Tawidtayo simply had to revisit and see what the people are talking about. As we open a new series here in the site, our first feature is truly worth blogging – Silay City’s Cafe 1925.

Located at the heart of the city, the little spot is cozy and inviting – dining there feels like eating in a Tita’s house or a friend’s front porch. The food they serve is unbelievably gluttonous – they’ve got main courses for lunch or dinner, sandwiches, pastas and desserts.
