All the way from Iloilo City at Panay Island, Tawidtayo can’t help but crossover and see what everyone is buzzing about in the City of Love. There was something fishy over at SM City – Manduriao, literally. It was the Tibiao Fish Spa, and have we ever mentioned that we LOVE spas?

The Tibiao Fish Spa is a business venture of three alumni of the University of the Philippines – Miag-ao. Currently, they have three tanks filled with fishes grouped according to sizes – the Beginner Tank, Medium Tank and the Advanced Tank. continue reading »

Tawidtayo is now 1 year old! After 1 year of travelling together, we hope you all will still continue to support us as we try to bring you more stories, more spots and more insights about the glory and beauty of the island and the people.

Now, as the site grows we also try to add a few more features which may also be interesting for you and as it is for us. For this year, we will shed more light on the Negrense lifestyle today and how it has evolved from the past.

Summer Getaways: Malagos Garden Resort, Davao City

Heading up to the mountains, Malagos Garden Resort gave more emphasis to birds and butterflies. They have their own butterfly sanctuary and the place couldn’t come even closer to nature as this haven.
During mornings and especially for scheduled educational trips, they host bird shows to give more info out about our feathered friends and to also present the funny yet amazing tricks their birds there could do. With so many things to do there, we never continue reading »
