Namit Journals: Tita Beth’s Pancit Malabon
Bacolod City has another addition to its blooming food industry and it is an original classic from Luzon. Imagine great old Tagalog Kare-kare made as it was meant to be eaten, the unbeatable pair of Tokwa’t Baboy and the authentic Pancit Malabon. These mouth-watering feasts isn’t too far away for the Bacolodnons now that Tita Beth’s Pancit Malabon is here.

The place is cozy, it feels like home especially since the ones brewing in the kitchen are the owners themselves: Tito Mer and Tita Beth Sales. Both hailing from Luzon, they have brought the dishes of the region here to the City of Smiles. Their main specialty is Pancit Malabon, made with the original thick noodles topped with tasty seafood and crunchy chicharon. If that’s not enough, get a taste of their Tagalog Kare-kare with Bagoong and we bet you’ll be coming back for more. Other favorites include Crispy Pata (served good for 3-4 people), Sizzling Sisig and their Tokwa’t Baboy. For people on the go and under a tight budget, they’ve got an array of ricebowl toppings called the Donburi Specials. Patterned after the Japanese style of topping rice with a special sauce, get to choose from chicken, beef, pork and shrimp paired with vegetables.

What’s more? Take the pancit malabon home as it is served the Tagalog way, in a bilao. It is available in servings good for 5, 10 or 15 people. They also can take bulk deliveries and take outs for parties and gatherings. If you haven’t tasted pancit malabon in your entire life, we strongly recommend making Tita Beth’s Pancit Malabon the first one you get to try.
